Super Bowl Menu
Happy Super Bowl Sunday! For many Canadian’s Super Bowl Sunday is not a huge deal but in our household, it is like a holiday. We started planning out menu weeks ago and that is while we are still under a stay at home order. Sadly this year we can’t have everyone over to watch the game and celebrate with us this year. But we are still watching as a family and making lots of delicious food.
For the men today is important because they like and follow football. But for jus girls, it’s all about the food. We do also follow football and have fantasy teams. But fantasy was over a while ago and our favourite football teams did not make it into the Super Bowl. But you’re here to talk about food.
I have rounded up all of our favourite recipes for Super Bowl Sunday. So sit tight and get inspried.
This is a great food to use for dips or if you plan to make wraps.
These small little falafel balls are perfect bite sized pieces. Put out some tzatziki and you’re set.
These are another great appetizer. They are more like two bites but they can be eaten with a fork or by your hands. Serve a little sour cream on the side or top them with sour cream and bacon and place toothpicks through them.
Hummus makes a great dip. Serve it with some gluten free crackers and vegetables.
Meatballs are a classic Super Bowl food for us. If you make them super small and then serve them with a red sauce or a BBQ sauce. Serve them on a tray with some toothpicks for easy enjoying.
These nuts are so flavourful and tasty. If you’re worried about multiple people putting their hands into the same bowl. Place a handful of nuts into cupcake liners so everyone can take their own.
These gluten free mozzarella sticks are crispy and cheesy. They are easy to make and such a hit as an appetizer.
This dip is hot, spicy and creamy. Make a big batch for everyone to enjoy or make it in smaller ramekins for individual consumption. Serve it with corn chips or vegetables.
What says game day more than chicken wings? Chicken Wings are a favourite in our family and a classic Super Bowl food. These oven baked wings are crispy even though they are done in the oven.
Mini potatoes are great for large crowds. They are 1 -2 bites and are really easy to make in the oven.
We love a good charcuterie board. You can either put out a large spread to feed everyone. Or small minis ones to accompany other food.
These rice krispie pinwheels are another family favourite. They are addictive and the filling can be anything you want. Which makes them great for holidays and occasions.
You always have to get any meal with something a little sweet and this s’mores bark is great for that. Or can also use the base of this recipe to make chocolate bark with other toppings.
Chocolate Chip Cookies are a classic treat and these ones are soft and full of flavour. They are sure to end the meal on a high note.
Lastly, you need a drink. The guys may be drinking beer (if they can) so here’s a great white wine sangria that has a very balanced flavour.
